| I love to debate and philosophize. Sometimes I spend a long time doing nothing but thinking. Right now, my favourite topics and general thoughts about them are: [Perfection]: I like to imagine perfection as a Ying Yang; being composed of "balanced imperfections". For example, the concepts of good and bad; of light and darkness. None of them can exist without their opposite. They complement each other. Both are necessary in it's own way. That balance is the key to me. [Destiny/Fate]: To me, it doesn't exist such thing. Nothing is static. The closest thing related to it, is composed of three concepts: Karma, the so-called Butterfly Effect and "every action has an equal and opposite reaction". We create our fate and change the course of events by our actions, while at the same time we are influenced by other people's actions and our own actions of the past and it's consequences. [God(s)]: "If you were taught that gnomes cause rain, then you will believe that every time it rains you're seeing evidence that gnomes exist." There are still things we can't understand. But they aren't "supernatural". I believe, everything belongs to nature, even those things we can't explain yet. I can't discard the idea that there might be one or more superior and/or supreme entities. But I find them irrelevant, even pointless for the Universe . [Life and Death]: The meaning of life is, precisely, to live it. Whether or not this will be the only one we'll ever have, we must enjoy it and also learn from it as much as we can. Also, I'm not afraid of my own death. I actually find it interesting and intriguing. I believe it's just the beggining of something else. Another life, probably. But, who knows... |
